why isnt my vacuum sucking up ?

I have a vacuum cleaner that uses a filter instead of bags.

The hose part of it works and suctions up fine, but the vacuum itself isn't sucking up or suctioning up. I emptied the filter and its still not suctioning. Its a kenmore quick clean vaccum.

Any ideas? thanks

Look for small flat filter on the inside above the filter you emptied. It will be at top to prevent dirt from going into the motor. Clean with soapy water and let dry. This should get your vacuum working again.
