Can anyone say that one brand of bagless vacuum cleaner is better than the other. No matter how you look at it, the vacuum cleaner is nasty. Bagless vacuum cleaners can either be upright, canister, back-pack, robotic, hand-held or central vacuum units. A Vacuum cleaner is a labor saving device, the cleaner it is the more comfortable the climate and healthy environment it will be for you and your family.

A vacuum cleaner is not just another device in the household, but an important tool to aid in cleaning the house. Most people are surprised at just how quiet a high-powered a vacuum cleaner can be. 97% of dust and airborne allergens. For those of us keeping up with a busy household - including cleaning and maintenance - the hunt for the most efficient vacuum cleaner is nothing less than a quest. Many people prefer upright vacuum cleaners because of their power and compact storage. For many people, a water system vacuum cleaner is a little bit of overkill. The vacuum cleaner as we know it today was invented in 1908 by James Murray Spangler.

Bagless is the way to go these days,. The last few years we have seen the rise in popularity of the bagless or cyclonic dirt handling systems. Unlike the older bag units, a bagless vacuum cleaner will focus on the high constant suction capability. These features should be considered the basic minimum for any carpet vacuum cleaner. The same thing should be done for the accessories because the quality of the brushes or the filter inside the vacuum cleaner will also deteriorate after some time. Vacuum cleaners come in a wide variety of choices in terms of style and features. Can anyone say one brand is better than the other. Not really, because it still boils down to where the vacuum cleaner will be used and what it will be used for.

Vacuum question?

ok, I am really broke, but I need to clean out all the dog hair inside of my car. I dont have any vacuum bags. I have an upright vacuum with a wand.

What if I opened the canister case in the front of the vacuum and left it off while I vacuumed out the inside of my car.....while I am outside.

I figure, the dog hair will be sucked out of the car and blown into the air...... do you think?

Not sure if the vacuum will work with the canister open. It may not be able to build the pressure needed to create a vacuum (in the physical sense).

Try rolling duct or electrical tape around your hand inside out and picking up the hair that way.

Or use a fine toothed comb (under $0.50) to brush the hair out.

Or try freecycle.org to see if anyone has vacuum bags that they aren't using. If someone gets a new vac and can't use the old ones, they probably have a stack laying around somewhere. You'd be surprised what people have and would love to get rid of...
