I was thinking of creating my own style & clothes (kind of like a trademark). Will people laugh?
So far I am wearing bold colored nail polish & I am writing stuff on my shirts (I have a whole list of ideas) & I am making my own vintage pins and bags. I wouldn't want to look stupid but I really hate it when poeple all like the same things and dress the same (like with totes & Victoria's Secret)
Duh people will laugh. People laughed at the guy who invented the light bulb. People laughed at Twiggy (model) because she was the first non-curvy model and look at the modeling industry now! Also, just about every style is laughed at by someone or other. Emos laugh at preps, preps laugh at emos. Yes, people will laugh, but undoubtably for ever person who laughs, two others will emulate you for taking a risk. In my personal opinion your ideas sound very good and like a good style to pursue.
