Electric expert or Internet source...power strip plugged into extension cord?

I am finding info on not to "piggyback" or "daisey chain" power strip to power strip, but not specific to power strip to extention cord...I am sure that they mean not to...but I need to show this specific information to a friend. It would help imensly if you can site an Internet source too. Thanks.

Power strips typically have an overload switch. They're good for about 1.5 kW (15-30 light bulbs) of power. If you draw more than this, you trip the switch. If you are running low power devices on a strip, no problem.

Don't be surprised when you turn on a microwave or toaster and the strip breaker trips.

I don't think there is anything really wrong with daisy chaining, except that you really don't want to have so many outlets available on one circuit.
