Well, if you are a Do-it-Yourselfer like me, then you understand this next comment I am going to make today; "Give Me a Painting Robot and I'll Love You Forever!" Yep, you heard it right, I am not an exceptional painter, and it is never an easy task. It seems that with all the Universities doing research and development in robotics someone would have built a painting robot? Why not?

They have robots to mow the lawn, vacuum the floor, and someone even had the bold idea to build an aircraft washing robot that can wash an entire 747 in only 4-hours. Hello, so why can't someone develop a painting robot and then some company, perhaps a franchise company can sell franchises that rent them out to who? People like me of course. I can tell you this, if I owned one, I could make millions in just my housing area alone.

Look, I do not want to appear lazy here, rather to explain that a little painting, well I am fine with it. A lot of painting is rather monotonous. Now, I also realize that when it's all done it's great to sit back and say; "Wow, I did that, and it looks great!" But to tell you the truth, I think I'd much rather congratulate myself on my excellent choice purchase of a robotic painting machine. Oh and yes, I have thought about that too, I know what you are thinking now. I have considered this issue; thus, I want someone to give me a "self-cleaning" painting robot!

Does the robot scooba 5900 vacuum/floor cleaner work well & is it worth the $$$?

This is an automatic vaccuum and floor washing circular machine. You fill it up with cleaning solution and press start.

It's worth every penny!

I have both a Scooba and a Roomba. Believe me, I was skeptical at first, before I had the Roomba, but after I first pressed "Go," I was made a believer.

They have a way of getting cleaning the edges and corners perfectly. Also, they work great going under and around kitchen tables, chairs, etc. to clean areas that you didn't even want to think about.

You can completely clean your whole house the old fashioned way to the very best of your abilities and then run "the robot" and it will still finish with a bin full of dirt. Amazing!

If you're going to buy, you might check eBay first. I bought my Scooba there and the price was only about half what iRobot charges at their site.
